Born in Townsville, Queensland - the city of endless summer. JAXX is the embodiment of sassy, fun and free-spirited Australian babes. The talented team behind the brand have been delivering their fashion-forward style to Townsville and North Queensland since 2004 and now to the rest of Australia online.

We LOVE what we do, we LOVE life and we LOVE our amazing customers.
We love creating unique, considered fashion - handmade, in small quantities from quality fabrics. We use plant-based, natural fibres whenever possible. They’re better for the environment and they’ll also make sure you stay cool in the fierce heat of an Aussie summer.
We love creating new designs and dropping fresh styles every week to keep you as excited about the latest JAXX buys as we are. We will ensure your Insta-style is enviably fresh.
Finally, we love all the girls who have supported JAXX over the years. Like seriously, you mean everything to us. 💖

LOVE For Our Environment
Our North Queensland HQ is close to some of the world’s most gorgeous rainforests and enjoys direct access to the breathtaking beauty of the Great Barrier Reef.
We’ve introduced measures to help offset our carbon footprint. Our online orders use compostable mailing bags, and we’re a ‘Clean Up Champion’ for Tomorrow’s Air. Our monthly donations remove 600kg of carbon dioxide from the air each year. This helps to offset our carbon footprint and enables Tomorrow’s Air to continue their work educating and inspiring the world to protect our atmosphere.

Throwback To The Start
JAXX all started when Chrissy and Damon - young, free-spirited festival and fashion-loving creatives took a gamble in the small town where they met. They created a buzzing retail store that was trailblazing at the time. Constant deliveries of fresh AF styles landing daily and a total vibe (courtesy of Chrissy’s DJ background) made sure it was and still is the must-shop fashion destination in Queensland.
JAXX was meant to be. Chrissy started selling vintage clothing and handmade, one-off designs in Bondi Markets aged 15. Her keen eye for on-trend design, merchandising and managing retail saw her work her way up the ladder at some of Australia’s most-loved brands until a job as a merchandiser at a major chain meant relocating to Queensland.
Together with Damon, this power couple has: travelled overseas, learnt how to produce and manufacture their own fashion styles, built a celebrated fashion empire from the ground up and even found the time to start a family. In their words: “Life has been hectic, colourful, non-stop, but amazing!”

Over the years, JAXX has built five of the most-happening retail stores in North Queensland, celebrating local babes and giving regional Queensland’s fashion-obsessed girls the styles they’ve been craving to wear but never been able to buy locally.
