Aussies do love to abbreviate. Chrissy Mac is from the name Christine McIntosh who is the co-founder and owner of Jaxx, Summerland and Stellar Moda boutiques situated in Townsville and Cairns North Queensland and now we are online here at last on JAXX.COM.AU.

The clothing brand “Chrissy Mac” was born due to a lack of suitable product available all year round from a huge list of current suppliers to fill her 5 stores.  It is pretty much Spring and Summer here 11 months of the year in North Queensland.  Finding stock that we really needed all year round was my driving force initially. From February to June I found it very difficult to find fashion made from breathable light fabrics. This motivated Chrissy to go beyond stocking other brands in her stores to creating one that was perfect for her environment and her customers  in the endless summer tropics of Far North Queensland.

Think quality plant-based fabrics, hand-printed or hand dyed in the most gorgeous colours and cut in figure-flattering shapes with super-limited availability.  

With a huge love for fabrics that are natural and feel like silk. You will  find classic Vs edgy shapes that you will absolutely live in. Known for cool midi dresses and smart vs sexy shirt dresses. Her styles will take you from a party to a music festival or Sunday session to cafe catch-ups.  Natural fibres give these pieces longevity, they are understated simple and feel like magic to wear on hot days and hot nights.

Chrissy has been selling her brand in her stores Stellar Moda, Jaxx and Summerland for the past 7 years.  Now finally at long last "Chrissy Mac" is available online. 

What started out as a need for her stores to thrive in the (other cities) cooler season.. has now turned into a huge passion with wings to fly!! Watch this space as Chrissys love for design and creating blossoms.
